Christmas card

It's been quite a while again since I posted here, so I thought it was time to show another card.
This one was made using Waltzing Mouse sentiment stamp and the little character is an old Panduro stamp.

For the back ground I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Teepee Card

Sorry I have not posted on this blog for such a long time, but today I finally made another card which I thought would be worth posting here.

The other day I found this great tutorial on Youtube on how to make teepee cards. You can find it here

These cards are great as they are eye catching and easy to display, yet you can send them flat in an ordinary envelope.

I used paper from the Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden line. The stamps used were from Stempelglede and Crafty Individuals. After stamping I cut them with the largest of the Spellbinders nestabilities labels Four die. Here you can see each of the three sides.

Card made with Pink Paislee

Here is a card made with the Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden collection.
I made the card for a trade I am in inone of my my artgroups. Each piece had to have a quote starting with "Life is like a..." I very cleverly (not) covered up one of the words in my quote with embellies, ah well...

Going away

I am going away for the next 10 days or so and made this card for the people I am staying with. The idea and lay out came from a card I saw in the latest issue of Craft Stamper. I just changed a bit and used different stamps as I did not have the ones used in the magazine.

Here are two of my latest cards. The top one uses some new stamps I got from Stempelglede, the bottom one an image from the Graphics Fairy. The background paper is available as a freebee on my other blog http://astridsartisticefforts.blogspot.com
